This is scarily close to the firing operation of a rocket launcher concept of mine. Only three questions: 1-Is it an arched trajectory or is it fully guided? 2-What initially launches it from the weapon before the rocket ignites? 3-How did you scale the weapon to munition?
Sorry, I like weapons...waaaaaay too much.

You shoot it upwards, then paint a target and the munitions rain down on the area. I never bothered to think up a firing mechanism, but I suppose it's a powder charge similar to a grenade launcher. The weapon scale was just "big" since it had to look like a heavy weapon. There was no real thought put behind it. :)

i like the way you designed the weapon. similar to the way a rocket launcher works id assume. but i really do love how you worked the ammo and stuff. but, to be honest, the rounds look about the size of a 203 grenade, which means the explosion would be about 15 meters of shrapnel, and lethal range of 5meters.
